Some three kilometers east of Carvoeiro lies the exclusive park ‘Algarve Clube Atlantico’.  A park that already exists for twenty years and thus a place with fully grown and mature plants. Most houses here are large villas but there are only few located as exclusive as Casa Miramar. On a dead end street with two more houses down the road, on a cliff, 30 meters from the sea (watch out when kicking a ball!) and oriented southwest.

The park has a reception where you can collect the key and pose your questions. Cleaning is also arranged through the reception. There is minigolf, a large pool and a very good Italian restaurant. Tennis courts are free to use for the guests of Villa Casa Miramar. At night there is a night guard on duty, streets are well lit.

The villa Casa Miramar 

The house itself has been adapted to modern standards and redecorated in 2006 and 2007. The front door gives entry to a hall with an opening towards the living room. Bedrooms and master bathroom are to the right, to the left are the small bathroom, kitchen and third bedroom.

The main bedroom is decorated in light colours, with a double bed 160 x 200 cm adjoined by two night tables, a dresser, mirror and chair. Windows can be closed with outside shutters. There is a large closet with sliding doors. A silent airconditioner also serves as heating.

The children’s bedroom has two beds 90 x 200 cm. and a night table in between. A large closet with sliding doors and silent air conditioning/heating system. Windows can be closed with outside shutters.

Between these bedrooms lies the master bathroom with a separate shower, bath, toilet and two washbasins. All made with stylish, luxurious material and floor heating.

To the left of the hall lies the small bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin. Adjacent is the kitchen. For cooking a ceramic plate with four hobs and a combination microwave (oven and microwave in one). Plus a good freezer/refrigerator and dishwasher. Appliances such as a coffee maker, orange press, blender, kettle and toaster are present. More than enough pots and pans, plates, glasses and cutlery for six persons. The third bedroom is a bit smaller but still has a 140 x 190 cm double bed, closet, airconditioning and sliding doors with shutters that lead onto a patio where the washing machine and tumble drier are.

The living room has a table with chairs for six persons. The couch is placed to give a good view to the garden but also to receive warmth from the fireplace in winter. And of course a good view to the large plasma television. Linked to the TV: satellite receiver (with many English and German channels) and DVD/home theatre. There is a small collection of DVDs, the machine also plays CDs.

There is a collection of traditional board games is in the footstool and there are books in English, German and Dutch.
Wireless Internet is available and access is possible after pre booking. 
The sliding doors lead to the covered terrace. You can sit outside when it rains, or sit in the shadow. On the terrace next to the pool is a large table and four comfortable chairs. There are extra chairs available. Sunshades are available as well as four sun beds and a Weber barbeque. To the left are the stairs to the roof terrace where you find a lounge set of three couches. A lot of privacy there! 

At the other side of the pool is another terrace with great view over the ocean and the the garden (lawn) giving access to the cliffs. The access is closed with a gate, the key is with the other keys.

The surroundings

The beach 'Praia do Carvalho' is about 200 meters from the house; just cross the parking lot and walk down the stairs. Various other beaches are west and east of Clube Atlantico, Benagil is the closest at about 800 meters.

In the neighborhood are possibilities for diving (PADI), horse riding, various water sports and of course the famous Algarve golf. Closest is a nine-hole course: Vale de Milho. On the other side of Carvoeiro are the large courses Gramacho and Pinta. More courses are within a half-hours’ drive.
